Today we went up to a castle which we have passed a few times on various trip to get food or towards the falls of shin. Dunrobin was the home of the Duke of Sutherland and is still owned and inhabited to this day. Whilst at the castle there was a falconry display and we saw three different types of birds the first being a Harris Hawk, the second an Eagle Owl and finally a little Peregrine Falcon was flying around. The guy who was doing the display was amazing, you could tell he was passionate about what he was doing and the birds he was looking after because of the way he was talking about them and really telling you about the birds.
He got the birds to fly above your heads and they would literally skim your heads so your hair would be all fluffed up. It was however an amazing experience.

After watching the display we had some lunch in the cafe before wandering around the house. We saw some beautiful rooms with gorgeous paintings. However one of the side houses came as a bit of a shock. It was a small summer house on the side of the grounds filled with the heads and other parts of various animals. The gazelle, antelope and bores heads did not bother me but the giant elephant head stuck to the wall and the giraffes neck and head bolted to the floor. It was completely disturbing to see but that was just their way of life. They enjoyed hunting whether it was foxes and dears in the UK to elephants and giraffes in Asia and Africa.
Rest of the photos from toady.
