Holiday. Day 3.

Tuesday 7th August 2012. Day 3. Helmsdale, Scotland. John O' Groats

Day 3, after waking up a little late and having to rush to get ready we drove up to John O'Groats which  is not the most northerly point in the UK which is in fact this place called 'Dunnet Head' which we did visit later on in the day. John O'Groats is in fact the longest distance between two inhabited points in the UK. (The other is Lands End in Cornwall)

There wasn't very much at John O'Groats to be honest, just a few tourist shops and the sign which allows you to have your photo taken with how many miles it is to your home town.

After this we went on a drive to the really most northerly point of the UK. There wasn't very much here either. Just a pretty cool light house and an awesome view.
God Damn Sexy is what I am :L

When photos of me are being taken now every now and again I pull a funny face, just because these pictures are hilarious to look at. On our way back to the cottage we took the senic route through the mountains. I however fell asleep for the majority of the journey. I was however awake to see my first ever heard of Highland Cattle. There was a field of these cows and bulls all with their calf (Mini-Cows) Dulcie took some awesome pictures of these Highland Cows and you can check them out on her blog. However here is the one decent photo I took.

Had an amazing day today and was good to say I have been to John O'Groats and the most northerly point in the UK. To finish it off with my standard PicFrame picture to sum up my outfit of the day.
